Nia - The Journey of a Young Black Woman” is an educational game that aims to show the anti-racist struggle and Afro Brazilian history and culture in a playful way. Through card game mechanics and board construction, the game for up to 4 players offers fun and collaborative learning. The opponent is not represented by the players, but by the racism faced on a daily basis by the character that gives the name to the game, reflected in the cards. In each game, one of the players assumes the role of master and reads the cards to the others. With each hit or error, players win or not, respectively, the pieces that make up the path to be built so that Nia gets to her school.
