Describe la necesidad o problema que deseas abordar
The problem we will be addressing is the low participation of women in sports, specifically volleyball in Toledo. Throughout the year 2019, Belize has obtained numerous amount of recognition in Central America due to women in sports. This has inspired organizations to invest in women in sports. Young females in Toledo suffer from health issues such as obesity, chronic diseases and mental illnesses such as depression and anxiety; this Volleyball clinic will not only aggressively attack those health issues, but also give young ladies positive things to do while building their self esteem. We seek to promote a healthy lifestyle, while teaching them the discipline and teamwork ethic needed to progress through life. Furthermore, by developing our younger athletes we will also be exposing them to opportunities to represent Belize and further their studies with financial assistance if they develop their skill level.
