The objective of PIMPOLLO is to train young school leaders from the city of Salta in social entrepreneurship tools for peace, with the aim of shaping the next generation of decision-makers who are aware of the significance of their individual roles in addressing issues related to peace and security. This includes the prevention of violent conflicts, social exclusion, stereotypes, polarisation and prejudices. PIMPOLLO takes over 5 workshops: Peace in SALTA, Intercultural exchange, Identity and prejudices, Tools for constructive dialogue and Implementation of Peace initiatives in Salta.This project designed an innovative approach for the inhabitants of Salta, a community that has no conception of peace in its day-to-day life. Furthermore, PIMPOLLO aims to serve as a gateway to peace-building networks in Salta, Argentina and the world.This initiative arises from the UNAOC Young Peacebuilders program. It will be implemented on a pilot basis in 2023 with the objective of growing in 2024.
